Foundation of TERMIS-AP Chapter
In July 2005, the TERMIS-AP Chapter was established at the Catholic University of Korea, Medical School, Seoul. Representatives from countries within the Asian-Pacific region invited to attend were: Prof. Teruo Okano (Japan), Asst. Prof. Jan-Thorsten Schantz (Singapore), Prof. Gin-Ho Hsiue (Chinese, Taipei), Prof. Ahnond Buynyaratvej (Thailand), Prof. Geoff McKeller (Australia), Prof. Ruszymah Bt Hj Idrus (Malaysia), Prof. Yilin Cao and Wei Liu (China), Prof. Minoru Ueda (Former President of ATES), Prof. Allan J. Russell (President of TERMIS), and Prof. Jöns Hilborn (President-Elect of TERMIS).
Geoffrey Michael William MCKELLAR
Geoffrey McKellar was a member of the TERMIS-AP Council and a supporter of the Society. He will be missed.

Much loved Partner of Ann, Father of Katie and David Timothy, Brother of David and Margot, Grandpa to Alessandra,
William and Samuel, cherished Father-in-law,Brother-in-law and Uncle respectively to Julian, Victoria, Bernardine,
John, Ashleigh, Stephanie, Lachlan, Alice and Geoffrey Matthew, loved Son of Geoff Snr (dec'd) and Maureen (decd),
Friend to Christopher, David and Collins Family (U.K.) died on 4th April, 2013 in Sydney.
Relatives and Friends are warmly invited to attend the service to celebrate Geoffrey's life, to be held at St
Augustine's Anglican Church, 9 Charlton Street, Hamilton, Brisbane, Qld on Friday, 19th April, 2013, at 10.00 a.m.,
followed by a private Cremation.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Westmead Medical Research Foundation and / or Operation Restore Hope Foundation
would be appreciated.

Solicitation of proposals 2016 TERMIS-AP Conference
The TERMIS-AP Chapter Council would like to announce the solicitation of proposals for hosting the 2016 TERMIS-AP Chapter meeting. If you are interested in hosting the 2016 TERMIS-AP Chapter meeting, please submit your request to Sarah Wilburn. You will be provided with a meeting host form that asks detailed questions about the meeting organizers, location/venue, program, and meeting financials. When proposals are submitted, they are reviewed by the respective chapter council and an official vote is conducted.
The deadline for submitting proposals for the 2016 TERMIS-AP Chapter Meeting is Friday, July 26, 2013.
**Note that all financial responsibility for the meeting will be underwritten by the meeting host. TERMIS will assist with the meeting by creating the meeting website; creating an ad to promote the meeting that will be included in the journal, Tissue Engineering; and will provide meeting updates to the TERMIS membership.
