SYIS-EU Project Proposal Competition - Oral Presentation
The jury for the selection of the oral presentation for the SYIS-EU Project Proposal Competition selected M. Korda et al presentation entitled ""WHO DONE IT?" THE ROLE OF DONOR AND HOST BMSCS AND HSCS IN THE HEALING OF OVINE CRITICAL-SIZED DEFECTS" as the winner. This project met the criteria of having an international consortium, being scientifically challenging and it fitted well in the TERM field.
The jury selected M. Korda's presentation as the best. Her proposal was presented in a clear, concise way, with great enthusiasm. The topic was considered timely and the contribution of the different partners was seen as really additive. The jury felt that this proposal really came from the applicants as new idea/new field.
There was some discussion on the topic of the consortium. At present all three applicants on the proposal are working at UCL. However, one of them is there only for a year (till October 2008). According to the proposal the work will then be continued at the Institute of Computer Science (ICS) in Poland.
Sincerely,
On behalf of the Jury for the selection of the oral presentations for the Project Proposal Competition,
Gerjo van Osch
