How to get to Granada

By plane: Airport information

Granada is situated in the southernmost region of Spain, Andalusia. It has a modern network of roads and motorways, allowing for easy access. The national airport, Federico García Lorca is 14 Km from the centre of the town. The venue is the Granada Conference and Exhibition Centre (Palacio de exposiciones y congresos de Granada) which is one of the most modern facilities of its kind in Europe, designed to provide all the necessary services and infrastructure required for a successful international conference of this type. The complex is very close to the city centre and easily reached from all the main access roads leading into the city from all directions.

By car: Motorways information

A-92, is connected to Seville in 2.5 hours time and to Malaga in 1, 2 hours time via the A-92 motorway, making Granada an excellent start point for a visit to Andalusia. The motorway A-44 is connected Motril, Tropical Coast, in only 45 minutes.

By plane: Airport information

Malaga airport is 125km from Granada. It takes 1hour 20 minutes from Malaga to Granada by car. The best way to Granada by public transport is to catch a bus from the 'estación de autobuses' in the centre of Malaga. There are frequent buses which connect the airport with the bus station. There are buses every hour until 9pm. It is difficult to get to Granada by bus if you arrive after 9pm. A taxi from Malaga to Granada costs aprox 120 euros.



By bus from Malaga

There is a bus every hour from 7am until 9pm (except 8pm). The price is about 9 euros. It takes 1 and a half hours.
