SYIS
The TERMIS-Student and Young Investigator Section (TERMIS-SYIS) provides a platform for the "next generation" of scientists and engineers in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine to interact. SYIS aims to further the professional and scientific development of its members. We encourage all students and young investigators, who will be attending the 2009 TERMIS World Congress to participate in the following activities.
Student-Meet-Mentor Meeting
The Student-Meet-Mentor Meeting Program provides networking opportunity for SYIS members with world-renowned researchers from the academic and industrial fields. While having plated lunch, members will have the chance to discuss and exchange ideas with the mentors.

SYIS Oral/Poster Competition
The top 5 oral and 10 poster presentations will be awarded at this meeting. Judgment will be made by the academic and industry researchers based on research originality, quality, presentation skills, and etc. Students and young investigators are welcomed to join this event. Candidates for this event should have an accepted abstract and a completed application.
