Call For Abstracts

Open: November 15, 2017
Deadline: February 12, 2018
Notification: April, 2018

Abstracts are invited for consideration for the 5th World Congress of the Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society - 2018 Kyoto, Japan (TERMIS-WC 2018), which will be held from September 4-7, 2018 at the Kyoto International Conference Center, Kyoto, Japan. The TERMIS-WC 2018 Kyoto will feature an outstanding scientific program bringing together national and international communities of scientists, clinicians, industry leaders, post-doctoral fellows, graduate students entrepreneurs, and representatives of government funding agencies engaged in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.

Abstract Consideration
Experts currently conducting research within the area of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine are invited to submit an abstract focusing on their successful implementation of technologies in all areas of tissue engineering/regenerative medicine.
Please submit your abstracts by selecting a related word among categories.  There are two categories: A and B.  Please first select an option within category A then select an option within category B. The words will then filter into the session titles upon the review of abstracts. If your abstracts does not fit within category A and B, please list your abstract in the “other” category. Please also make a selection for an oral presentation, poster presentation or either.  Sessions will be slotted based on the outcome of the review process.

Abstract Preparation

This is the ONLY option for abstract submission.

Oral and Poster Preference
The preferred method of presentation (oral, poster or either) should be selected on the online submission form. Your preference will be noted by the reviewers. Final determination will be made by the Scientific Advisory Committee.

Abstract Format
・The abstract length is limited to 2,500 characters (around 250 words).
・Please no figures or tables in the abstract.

Title
The title should be brief and clearly indicate the nature of the presentation. Do not put a period at the end of the title.

Example for Title: This is a Properly Formatted Abstract Title

Author(s)
The authors should be listed in upper and lower case letters as follows:

**Presenting authors are expected to pay their own travel expenses and conference registration fee(s).

References
May be included at the end. Please use a standard format as shown below:
          References:
 1. Langer R, Vacanti JP. Tissue Engineering. Science 260, 920, 1993.

Acknowledgments:
Support from outside sources, such as Research Grants, should be listed here. Any conflict of interest must be clearly recognizable. The indication of outside support does not affect the decision of abstract acceptance or rejection.

Online Revisions
You may revise your abstract no later than 11:59 pm Japanese Time on Tuesday February 12, 2018, by returning to the site and logging in using your username and password. After the deadline, all completed abstracts in the system will be sent to the Abstract Reviewers for review. Any abstracts left “incomplete” will not be sent for review. There are no exceptions.

Abstract Withdrawals
If the abstract must be withdrawn, the TERMIS-WC 2018 Kyoto office must be notified in writing at least ONE MONTH PRIOR to the World Congress via e-mail to termis-wc2018@convention.co.jp

Registration Requirements
Accepted authors must pay their conference registration fee by the early bird registration deadline (May 31st, 2018).  If accepted authors have not registered by May 31st, their presentation will be withdrawn from the program.

[NOTE] All presenters are expected to cover their own travel and lodging expenses and pay the conference registration fees.

Dates of presentations cannot be guaranteed.
